The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) University Recognition Program honors universities that prepare students for careers in property and casualty insurance. The program supports academic institutions and values partnerships that help develop the next generation of actuaries.
Institutions can receive Bronze, Silver, or Gold recognition based on the breadth of their actuarial curriculum and research. MUIC’s Applied Mathematics program has earned Bronze recognition, making it one of only two universities in Thailand to be recognized by the CAS.
Students benefit from networking opportunities, scholarships, and exam preparation resources. MUIC’s Actuarial Mathematics I & II and Risk Management and Derivatives courses also count toward Society of Actuaries exam credits.
